Notes:

Mended rim, neck and body fragment from a small tankard. Squat globular body, probably rounded base. Tall, broad neck widening to round horizontal mouth with everted flattened rim. Large grooved lug from lower neck to shoulder with three horizontal piercings. Decorated in slightly lustrous red-orange to dark brown paint. Paint on rim, not well preserved. On exterior, on neck, horizontal wavy line above framed horizontal crosshatched band; in between vertical bands and vertical wavy lines. At neck-base, three horizontal lines. On shoulder, horizontal wavy line above horizontal row of linked circles. On body, double-framed vertical crosshatched band below lug. To either side horizontal five-line zig-zag, above framed horizontal crosshatched band, above vertical solid bands to base. Vertical wavy line on surface of lug. Paint around edges of perforations in lug. Drawn.
