Mended neck, handle, body and base fragment of medium-sized jug. Squat globular slightly carinated body, flat base. Broad neck. Vertical handle, oval in section, to shoulder (mostly missing). Large pierced lug at neck-base opposite handle. Decorated in slightly lustrous orange brown to brown paint. Decoration continuous on neck and body. Three registers of broad perpendicular lines separated by a single horizontal chequer band, bordered above and below by three horizontal lines, with a horizontal row of crosshatched lozenges at mid-body. On each side of neck and body, a vertical band of solid lozenges bordered by three vertical lines. Below handle and lug, a vertical wavy line bordered by three vertical lines. On base, intersecting double lines with small reserved squares at the intersection and isolated circles or semicircles in the interstices. Line around edge of base. Disconnected three-line vertical zig-zag on surface of handle. Single vertical wavy line on lug. Drawn.
