Small rim, upper neck and handle fragment from a large closed vessel, probably a tankard. Broad neck, round horizontal mouth. Prominent projection (thumb-grip) at rim. On surface of projection, as preserved, two roughly impressed indents and a deep vertical groove. Decorated in matt black paint. Not drawn.
