Rim, neck, handle and upper body fragment from a large jug. Medium-wide, concave-sided neck. Trefoil mouth with flaring rounded rim. High vertical handle, oval/rectangular in section, from rim, inserted through wall at lower end. Surface worn and abraded. Decorated in faded red paint, not all of which is visible. Band on rim. On neck, three broad horizontal bands. Broad horizontal band at neck-base level with handle join. On small area of upper body preserved (near handle) multiple crossing lines. Broad parallel short angled lines on handle. Neck appears (from join visible on interior) to have been attached at point level with upper side of handle join (ie below neck-base itself). Many small and medium-sized white inclusions and some mica. Drawn.
