Small deep bowl (or cup) with flattened, slightly convex base, not marked off from body. Mouth oval (92 x 102). High vertical handle, rectangular in section, from rim. Mended with small area of rim and handle missing. Decorated in matt pinkish-red paint, fired dark brown on one side on exterior and interior. Slip colour also varies across vessel. On interior, horizontal wavy line below rim; body divided equally by alternating vertical single wavy and double straight lines, meeting but not crossing on base. On exterior, broad band of parallel vertical lines over whole of body, framed above and below by a single horizontal line. On base two crossing lines. On handle alternating sets of three parallel angled and horizontal lines. Solid paint on sides of handle. Drawn.
