White Slip II

Mended, almost complete bowl. Hemispherical body, rounded base. Incurved rounded rim. Decorated in matt dark brown paint. Row of small dots on rim. On upper body horizontal zigzag with dots in interstices, bordered above and below by four horizontal lines. On body, six sets of four parallel vertical lines meeting but not joining on base. In each panel, a small diamond-shaped motif pendent from lower set of horizontal lines (in centre of panel below handle). No frontal panel. Band around each handle join. Four sets of parallel angled lines on handle. Solid paint on each side of handle. Band around each handle join. Dot on underside of one arm of handle. Drawn.
