Red Polished Black Top

Complete mended small, relatively thick-walled bowl. Deep hemispherical body. Round base. Small lug, perhaps not fully pierced, at rim. Fine incised decoration, entirely covering the exterior. Below rim, two horizontal framed crosshatched bands with a horizontal wavy line in between and, at regular intervals, three-line concentric circle motifs. On body, eight sets of two slightly angled vertical hatched bands. Two are continuous across base; the others join but do not cross these two. In between, two- and three-line concentric circle motifs, placed below short sets of four parallel vertical lines and above two hatched lozenges arranged vertically. Circles broadly incised. Exterior of base very worn. Drawn.
