Rim and body fragment from a small cooking vessel. Deep globular body with wide mouth and no neck. Flaring flattened rim. Orientation uncertain. Exterior surface entirely blackened by carbon residues. Lower 36mm of interior of sherd also blackened. Sherd also partly blackened through section. Thin matt slip visible on interior (10R5/4). Hard fabric with medium to many inclusions. Drawn.
